The companies are a brain – child of three young enterprising Technocrats, all graduates in Mechanical Engineering having passed in 1993 from Vishwakarma Institute of Technology, Pune, an Institute of repute specialized in churning out young engineers. After graduating, the three engineers viz. Milind Padgaonkar, Vishwas Parasnis and Ninad Mahajan spent a couple of years in shop floor training for practice experience and decided to venture into a small engineering activity, commencing with manufacture “Kitchen Trolleys” which was then a relatively new concept in Kitchen layouts for modern living.
Starting in a small scale with an humble turnover of RS.6-7 lakh in the first year, very soon the brand “PIONEER” become a household name and became a popular need for kitchens. With a close eye on quality control the Brand name came to be accepted in the market.
As business grew, with a turnover of around Rs. 55 lakh “PIONEER” specializes in the latest techniques in production, with state of the Art equipment and apparatus. While “PIONEER” specializes in Stainless Steel, M.S. dip coated trolleys on traditional platforms, M.S. Frames etc. with variety of gadgetry and attachments, “UNIQUE” brand specializes in latest techniques in “Post forming” process and “Modular work stations (MWS)” for I.T. companies. P.F. process is carried out on latest up-to-date machinery with automated controls “UNIQUE” has a turnover of about Rs. 35 lakh.
